Our Story
It began in 1960, with a small karahi and a big idea: samosas and kachoris fried fresh, right in front of the customer, with nothing hidden and nothing rushed. The man behind that karahi was the Late Shri Nihal Chand Soniji — our founder, and the reason this shop still stands, just steps from Shri Banke Bihari Mandir in Pahar Ganj, Delhi.
What started as a modest stall grew into a name that regulars in the lane know by heart. The same attention Nihal Chand Soniji gave to every samosa — hand-pleated, fried in fresh oil, served hot — is the standard the shop still holds itself to today.
More than six decades on, the shop is still run with that same discipline: fresh oil, pure ghee, and recipes that have never been simplified for speed.
